Finally, a little over a year ago, I had the opportunity to go back to Mass General Hospital Blake 12 and say thank you. I didn’t realize how emotional it was going to be as I walked through the doors to the hallway where the waiting room is located. Mike was with me and he pointed to the room and said, this is where I first met your family and friends. It brought tears to my eyes.Looking inside the room today, there were other patient’s family members and I felt sorry for them. It’s tough knowing these people have loved ones so sick. Hopefully they will be put at ease as they experience the same level of care that I received from the nursing staff at this world renown hospital. Thank you to all those that helped me during my weeks stay. I am forever grateful for Beth, Jessica, Ashley, Emily, Mary and all the others (whose a names have escaped me, I apologize) that helped me along my road to recovery! (And oh yes, thanks for the visit from the Red Sox! They lifted not only my spirits but the nursing team’s as well.)
